Barclays Bank launches Employee Solar Scheme with Rex |

Barclays Bank recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Rex Investment Limited, Tanzania’s leading solar energy contractors since the year 2000, to support their staff for the installation of solar power systems at their homes. The Company agreed to extend to eligible Barclays employees a purchase agreement for solar home systems on credit basis for installation at their urban or rural households. This ensures constant power supply regardless of power failures or rationing and it greatly enhances the value of property for home owners.
